Arbel was abducted from Nir Oz along with her partner, Ariel Kunio and her brother - Dolev Yehud. Ariel's brother David was also kidnapped - along with his wife Daniel and their two daughters Emma and Yuli, the three-year-old twins. Sharon, Emma and Yuli were released on 27.11.23. Arbel lived for a time in the center of the country and six years ago she returned to live in Kibbutz Nir Oz. She is very interested in space exploration and astronomy and engaged in training on these subjects at the Groove tech complex in the Eshkol Regional Council.
