The late Aviv was kidnapped together with his wife Liat from Kibbutz Nir Oz. They are the parents of Aya (18), Neta (20) and Ofri (22). Aviv went out to fight the terrorists and his wife stayed in MMD with the dog. In the first hours he was still in contact with Liat and informed her about what was happening.
