Ofer was kidnapped to Gaza together with his children Sahar, 16, and Erez, 12, from their home in Nir Oz. Ofer is a carpenter by trade, specializing in kitchens. A fan of riding dirt bikes, building and flying airplanes and loves trips in Israel and the world. He has two other grown children. His ex-wife Hadas Calderon is fighting for their return.
