Odeya z"l was murdered with her husband, Dolev z"l. Both were shot to death near their home in Sderot in front of the eyes of their little daughters aged 3 and 7. The children of Odeya and Dolev were saved thanks to the heroic efforts of Amer Abu Sabila, z"l, a 25-year-old from Abu Talul (father of two young children), who helped Odeya try and escape. Unfortunetly Amer was also murdered by Hamas terrorists.
