ISRAEL AT WAR
UNITY &
PRAYER
The Montreal Jewish community comes together for our brothers and sisters in Israel with words of chizuk from community leaders, and tehillim.
HONOUR OUR FALLEN HEROES
By Planting Fruit Trees in Israel
In the face of destruction, Jewish life and spirit have consistently triumphed through rebuilding. In honour of Tu Bi'Shvat, KTM-MTL has collaborated with the organization Zo Artzeinu to plant hundreds of fruit trees in the orchards of communities in Southern Israel affected on October 7th. Each tree planted will stand as a living memorial to a fallen herp who made the ultimate sacrifice defending Israel.

Our thoughts and tefilot are with all our current, past (and future!) bachurim, who are currently serving in the army, defending our people and homeland (not all pictured). They are always on our mind and in our hearts, and we pray that they should return home safely and soon.
Yair Greenblum, KTM bachur 2023-2024, returned to Israel to join his unit when war was declared on October 8th. Baruch Hashem, he returned to Montreal in February and we're so happy to have him back! We pray all the chayalim and chatufim also return home very soon!

The Montreal Jewish community stands with Israel, and KTM, along with our community partners, are leading initiatives to support our heros & people from here at home.
Here are some pictures of Bnot Sherut Tiferet and Reut, in partnership with Bnei Akiva, at a challah bake for Israel with local grade 11 students.
Bz"H in their zechut we should see yeshuot!
