Information is accurate to the best of our knowledge.

In case of discrepancy between the Hebrew and the English, the Hebrew should take precedence.

Maya z"l was murdered while staying with her family over the weekend in the Gaza Envelope by Hamas terrorists.

The Emek Hefer council wrote about Maya:
Maya, a brave, honest, determined woman, imbued with purpose and faith in all people, wherever they are, a strong woman with a lot of faith in herself and in her very special way.
The kind hearted Maya was well known and highly valued in the entire Emek Hefer community.
She always wanted to help everyone, and did so with generosity, joy and calmness, which characterized her so much.
Maya grew up in Emek Hefer and was so attached to it.
A girl, a teenager and a woman who cultivated long-standing friendships, thanks to her ability to see and accept each and everyone, as they are, with great openness and love, without criticism and judgment. She loved everyone and everyone loved her.
Here she raised her children and was a devoted and loving mother.
She proudly managed the Moringa Israel company. She saw in the company its mission and vocation: improving human nutrition and health and bringing healing to the world, through the moringa trees that were planted in the agricultural areas along the Alexander River.
We in Emek Hefer, and in the entire country, are mourning and crying over the terrible tragedy during which she was murdered in cold blood along with so many. A huge loss of a wonderful woman.
The pain is not perceived, cannot be contained. There are no words that can describe, no words that can comfort at this time.
I painfully hug you family members from Kfar Haim, Shoshanat HaEmekim, Hibat Tzion, Maya's friends, everyone who knew and loved Maya.
We here, in the council and in the settlement, will continue to be by your side in unbearably difficult moments, to support, assist and facilitate as much as possible.
May the memory of Maya be blessed forever.'
