Kibbutz Ortal couple named as victims of deadly Hezbollah barrage

The tragic rocket attack in the Golan Heights on Tuesday claimed the lives of Noa and Nir Barnes, a married couple from Kibbutz Ortal.
The couple, who leave behind three children, were killed when their vehicle was hit during a barrage of rockets fired from Lebanon during a massive salvo by the Shi'ite terrorist group.

Intelligence reports indicate that approximately 40 projectiles were launched from Lebanese territory, targeting the central Golan Heights region. In a subsequent statement, Hezbollah claimed responsibility, saying it had "launched dozens of Katyusha rockets towards bases in the Golan Heights."
Magen David Adom paramedics Aviv Attar and Tarek Haeeb provided a harrowing account of the scene: "We responded immediately after the sirens, having received reports of two casualties. Upon arrival, we were confronted with a devastating sight.
The car had sustained a direct hit, and in the front seats were a man and woman, both unconscious and critically injured. As we administered emergency care, additional warning sirens forced us to seek shelter periodically, all while continuing our efforts to treat the victims. We received crucial assistance from military personnel at the site. This incident was extraordinarily distressing."
