Revital Yehud, 45, of Kiryat Shmona, was killed today (Wednesday, 9 October 2024) in a Hezbollah rocket barrage from Lebanon together with her partner, Dvir Sharvit, while they were out walking their dogs.
Originally from Eilat, Revital moved to Kiryat Shmona after recovering from cancer two years ago. Since the beginning of the Swords of Iron War and the intensification of the rocket and missile attacks from Lebanon, the families of Revital and Dvir had tried to convince them to leave Kiryat Shmona and relocate to Be'er Sheva, but they decided to stay in the city along with their three dogs, who were also killed in the barrage.
Revital Yehud will be buried in the Be’er Sheva cemetery. A date for the funeral has not yet been determined.
