The communal Korban from Chadera: The very special, pure young man Rabbi Refael Mordechai Fishoff, left his home for kollel yesterday with his sefarim under his arm when a terrorist stabbed him viciously, leaving him bleeding heavily. With his last strength he ran to a neighbour's home to ask for help, there he collapsed and lost consciousness and after intensive efforts to save his life, his pure soul returned to its Maker. He leaves behind his widow and six children.

The young man, a true tzaddik had spent the whole night immersed in his learning and his life was cut short whilst on his way to kollel in the morning.

Hatzala workers tried to resuscitate him and transferred him to the city's Hillel Yaffa hospital where he underwent a number or surgeries, but the decree had been decreed and he passed away the following morning.
