Eduard Sololov, 57, of Nahariya, father of four, died today (Sunday, 3 November 2024) after being critically wounded in a massive rocket attack from Lebanon on the northern coastal city on October 23.

Wounded in the head by falling shrapnel, he was rushed to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, where he underwent a series of surgeries. He succumbed to his wounds after being in a coma for 11 days in the ICU.

Sololov, a fisherman, had been on a city pier when the attack took place and was unable to reach a shelter in time. He was laid to rest in the new Nahariya cemetery on Monday, 4 November. He is survived by his four children and a sister.
