Safa Awad, a resident of the Palestinian town of Shfar'am in her 50s, was killed in a Hezbollah rocket strike in Israel's North. Magen David Adom (MDA) said Awad was killed while in a safe room in a building in Shfar'am. She had been critically wounded, and paramedics who arrived on scene were forced to pronounce her dead.
