Information is accurate to the best of our knowledge.

In case of discrepancy between the Hebrew and the English, the Hebrew should take precedence.

Omer z"l was a surfer and was murdered in Kibbutz Kfar Azza. He left behind a wife and four children. His daughter Gali paid tribute to him in tears: "My father. My Fluffy. I am writing this to you trembling. After more than 30 hours of not knowing what was happening and your body lays there. My best friend, the only one who was always there for me. What an amazing person you were. I have never seen a person as happy and as optimistic as you. Exactly a month ago your father, my grandfather Yoel Zadikevitch, passed away and you were so connected to him but only now can I understand what you felt a month ago... well maybe a little more painful. The only thing that encourages me is that you are with him now in heaven and planning with God how we are going to wipe out Azza. You were a huge part of me, Abba, and always will be, but I promise you , that even though it's difficult, I will gather myself and I will hold the whole family if necessary. I will watch over Shimrit with Maayan as if he were my little brother." Omer's brother, Uri, paid tribute to him: "On 10/7, my dear brother Omer Tsadikwitz was murdered by armed terrorists when he tried to escape - not from a battlefield, but from his home! The kibbutz where he lived for more than 25 years and where he raised his four children. On 7/9 we lost our dear father, Yoel - the wounds are still open and then came this horrible and painful death. "We are all humane, human beings" we usually say - but how does this horrible act have a human image in it? Human? The pain is unbearable, and unfortunately in these times in our country, our sad story is not "unusual", because pain and bereavement are everywhere. And it's absurd and it hurts - because death shouldn't be the norm! Keep surfing my dear brother in the waves of heaven. I love you"
