Authorities determined on 7 May 2024 that Lior Rudaeff, z"l, 61, of Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak, who was previously considered to be in captivity in Gaza, was in fact murdered in the October 7 Hamas massacre and his body abducted to Gaza, where it is currently being held.
