Information is accurate to the best of our knowledge.

In case of discrepancy between the Hebrew and the English, the Hebrew should take precedence.

Dorin, z"l, a pilates instructor from Gani Tikva, was supposed to celebrate her 24th birthday the next month. Her older brother Niv was supposed to get married on October 24. "We decided to make a final touch for the wedding dresses," says her mother, Tali Hadad. "Dorin was so excited for the wedding," says her mother, Tali. "She went to work as a bartender at a 'Nova' party, so that she would have money to give her brother as a wedding present. Dorin studied at 'Ben Zvi' high school in Kiryat Ono. In the army she served as an observer in the Gaza Division. We always feared for her safety when traveling, we preferred to drive her to the base, round trip, so that she would not go there by buses. In the last months she studied Pilates instruction. On the following Sunday, October 8, Dorin was supposed to receive the qualification certificate, on her mother's birthday. They arranged for her to come home from the party, take a shower and rest, she would take her to the diploma ceremony, and then they would go eat together and celebrate her birthday. They even arranged to go together to the seamstress, in the afternoon, to make final touches to the wedding dresses. Doreen was a beautiful and energetic young woman. Loved animals very much, loved to dance, play beach volleyball and do extreme sports. After the army, in February 2022, she traveled with a good friend to South America. In a picture, you see her mother and her father accompanying her at the airport, just before she boarded the plane. Her mother was holding a disposable cup so we can pour water on it. It is a custom designed to protect the passenger, who will return home safely. Throughout her trip we were very stressed and worried. After seven months, when she returned to Israel, we felt that we could finally breathe a sigh of relief. We never imagined that we would lose her precisely when she was here at home, in her own country.
